BIOGRAPHY

Hello! My name’s Robin and I’m a drummer and drum teacher based in Devon, UK.

I’ve been performing live across the UK and US, as well as recording in studios, for over a decade. I hold an MMus in Music Performance, a BA in Music Technology, and an ATCL Diploma in Drum Kit.

 

I’ve played with a range of artists including Danny McMahon, Hannah Trim, Kelsey Bovey, and The Petty Criminals — sometimes in front of thousands. While I specialise in country music, my experience spans many genres, including jazz, funk, classical, pop, rock, and more. I’ve performed all over the UK and even toured in Nashville, TN.

 

Over the years, I’ve played countless function gigs with various bands, and I currently perform with The Atlantic, playing at weddings, birthdays, and other events. I also regularly perform with country artist Danny McMahon, playing festivals throughout the UK and the US.

 

In addition to live work, I’ve recorded extensively in the studio, particularly on country records. You can check out some of the projects I’ve played on in the Discography section.

 

Beyond performing, I’m passionate about teaching. I currently tutor over 60 drum students each week and love helping them grow in confidence, creativity, and musicianship.
